This course provides a brief introduction to major approaches to ethical analysis and then conducts a detailed consideration of a number of specific moral issues in applied ethics. These typically include reproductive technologies, stem cell research and regenerative medicine, abortion, euthanasia, the death penalty, war, humanitarian intervention, torture, animal rights, and computer ethics.
